What is CSOK Plus?

CSOK Plusz is an ideal choice for married couples who want to start a family or plan to have additional children alongside their existing ones.

Under this scheme, applicants can apply for a subsidized loan with a maximum interest rate of 3% and a loan amount of up to 50 million HUF. In the case of purchasing a property, applicants may also be eligible for exemption from the property acquisition duty. For the second and each subsequent child born after the submission of the loan application, the outstanding loan principal is reduced by 10 million HUF per child.

What Loan Amount Can Be Requested?

The maximum loan amount available depends on the combined total number of existing and undertaken children:

1 child – maximum 15 million HUF

2 children – maximum 30 million HUF

3 or more children – maximum 50 million HUF

To utilize the CSOK Plusz program, the undertaking of at least one additional child is required. Existing children are also taken into account when determining the maximum loan amount.

Who is Eligible?

Married couples where the wife has not yet reached the age of 41 at the time of submitting the application. It can also be applied for above the age of 41 if the wife is at least 12 weeks pregnant or if the statutory adoption procedure has already been initiated.

As a general rule, at least one spouse must prove a minimum of two years of continuous social security (TB) insurance history or statutory eligibility period.

CSOK Plusz can also be used for the purchase of new-build apartments, making it applicable for buying newly built properties in Budapest, provided the applicants and the property meet the statutory requirements.

What Property Size is Required?

The minimum useful floor area of the purchased property must reach:

  • At least 40 m² for 1 child

  • At least 50 m² for 2 children

  • At least 60 m² for 3 or more children

Property size requirements are calculated based on the total number of existing and undertaken children combined.

When acquiring a first shared home, properties with a maximum value of 100 million HUF can be financed using CSOK Plusz.

If it is not the acquisition of a first shared home, the value of the purchased property can be a maximum of 150 million HUF.

The child-undertaking deadline is 4 years for one undertaken child, 8 years for two undertaken children, and 10 years for three undertaken children.

The CSOK Plusz loan can also be combined with the Otthon Start loan and market-rate housing loans, allowing for the creation of various financing structures in case of higher purchase prices.

Our credit experts free of charge will help you find the most favorable financing solution for your needs and put together a loan structure tailored specifically to you.
